4. Accuracy of website information

We aim to keep the information on our website accurate, clear and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete, current or error-free.

We may update, change, remove or correct website content at any time without notice.

Information on our website is provided for general educational and service information only. It should not be treated as a guarantee of academic results, exam outcomes, school places, university offers, scholarship awards or any specific achievement.

5. Educational information disclaimer

Our website, tutoring sessions, courses, resources and digital materials are designed to support learning and academic confidence.

They do not replace:

  • school teaching;

  • independent study;

  • professional educational assessment;

  • medical, psychological or specialist SEND advice;

  • exam board guidance;

  • official school, college or university requirements.

While we work hard to provide high-quality educational support, we cannot guarantee any particular grade, result, ranking, offer, interview outcome, entrance exam score or academic achievement.

Student progress depends on a range of factors, including attendance, effort, prior knowledge, independent practice, exam conditions, school support and individual circumstances.

6. Eligibility to use our services

Our services may be used by students, parents, carers, tutors, prospective tutors and other individuals interested in educational support.

Where a student is under 18, bookings and purchases should usually be made by a parent or carer, or with a parent/carer’s knowledge and consent.

By booking or purchasing from us, you confirm that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and complete;

  • you have authority to make the booking or purchase;

  • you will comply with these Terms and our relevant policies;

  • where the service is for a child, you are authorised to provide relevant information about that child.

7. Accounts and login details

Some areas of our website, booking system or resource platform may require you to create an account.

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information;

  • keeping login details secure;

  • not sharing your account with unauthorised users;

  • telling us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to keep account details safe, unless caused by our own failure to take reasonable care.

We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe it has been misused or used in breach of these Terms.

8. Bookings

Tutoring sessions, courses, workshops, webinars, events or consultations may be booked through our website, booking system, email or another approved method.

A booking is not confirmed until we have accepted it and, where payment is required in advance, payment has been received.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or rearrange a booking where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • a tutor is unavailable;

  • payment has not been received;

  • incorrect information has been provided;

  • the service requested is not suitable;

  • there are safeguarding concerns;

  • there has been abusive or inappropriate behaviour;

  • circumstances outside our control prevent the session or event from going ahead.

If we cancel a paid booking, our Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy will apply.

9. Prices and payment

Prices for services, courses, resources and products will be shown on our website, booking system, invoice or product page.

Unless stated otherwise, prices are in pounds sterling.

We aim to ensure that prices are accurate. If we discover a pricing error, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. We are not required to provide a product or service at an incorrect price where the error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as a mistake.

Payment may be taken by card, bank transfer, online payment provider, invoice or another payment method we accept.

You agree to pay all fees due for the services or products you purchase.

10. Late or failed payment

If payment is late, failed, reversed or unpaid, we may:

  • pause access to services or digital content;

  • cancel or suspend bookings;

  • refuse further bookings until payment is made;

  • recover reasonable costs caused by non-payment;

  • charge interest or late payment charges where legally permitted and clearly communicated.

We will try to resolve payment issues fairly and reasonably before taking further action.

11. Online tutoring sessions

Online tutoring sessions are delivered remotely using video call software or another agreed platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that the student has:

  • a suitable device;

  • a stable internet connection;

  • any required materials;

  • a quiet and appropriate learning environment;

  • access to the session link or platform;

  • adult supervision where appropriate for younger students.

We are not responsible for technical issues caused by your device, internet connection, software, environment or failure to join the session on time. However, we will try to help where reasonable.

12. Student behaviour and safety

Students are expected to behave respectfully during tutoring sessions, courses, workshops and online interactions.

We may end or refuse to continue a session if there is:

  • abusive, threatening or discriminatory behaviour;

  • inappropriate language or conduct;

  • repeated disruption;

  • safeguarding concern;

  • misuse of online platforms;

  • behaviour that makes the tutor or another student feel unsafe.

Where a student is under 18, we may inform the parent or carer of any serious concerns.

13. Parent and carer responsibilities

Where services are provided to a child or young person, parents/carers are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information about the student’s needs;

  • ensuring payment is made when due;

  • supporting appropriate behaviour during sessions;

  • informing us of relevant SEND, health, wellbeing, safeguarding or access needs;

  • ensuring contact details are accurate and up to date.

We encourage parents/carers to tell us about anything that may help us support the student properly.

14. Tutor matching

We aim to match students with suitable tutors based on subject, level, availability, learning needs and other relevant factors.

However, we cannot guarantee that a particular tutor will always be available, or that a tutor match will continue indefinitely.

We may change or substitute a tutor where reasonably necessary, including due to availability, illness, scheduling changes, safeguarding concerns or suitability.

15. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, missed sessions, late arrivals, refunds, digital product refunds, returns and event cancellations are governed by our Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy.

Please read that policy carefully before booking or purchasing.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

16. Digital downloads and online resources

Digital products may include downloadable guides, worksheets, revision packs, online courses, templates, videos, workbooks or other educational resources.

Where you purchase digital content and choose immediate access, you may be asked to confirm that:

  • you understand that once access or download begins, you may lose your 14-day cancellation right.

Digital content is for personal educational use only unless we clearly state otherwise.
