Hi! My name's Abbie!
I founded Laugh 'n' Learn Tutoring during COVID when all our learning moved online. I saw the impact of lockdown on the learning of children across the nation, especially those with additional educational needs and disabilities, who were no longer able to access the support they needed to thrive in school and reach their full potential. Thus, Laugh 'n' Learn was born - a virtual school that casts away the rigid ideals of stereotypical tutoring, instead adopting a fun and student-centred approach that places our students' personal interests and goals at the centre of what we do.
Five years later, Laugh 'n' Learn has grown into a warm and welcoming community that educates students of all ages and abilities, from SAT prep and adjustment to high school, to GCSEs and higher education applications. Whether you're aiming to go from a 2 to a 4 or an 8 to a 9, revising for A-levels or deciding on universities, we have a tutor waiting to help you to smash your goals.
Our tutors have backgrounds in a wide range of subjects and exam boards so that no matter your goals, we have someone to support you. We know that a good rapport between student and tutor is key to a trusting and impactful learning environment, giving students the space to build on their confidence and learn to believe in themselves. I am so proud that our team has grown into a family of thriving students and dedicated teachers, who are here for you, for life.
